2. Products, Description & Availability
- SumiKart offers everyday household hygiene essentials, including our flagship Lakunci Premium 4-Ply Hanging Facial Tissues and related home accessories.
- We endeavor to display product images, specifications, and packaging dimensions as accurately as possible. However, actual packaging colors and designs may vary slightly due to device display settings.
- All products are subject to stock availability. We reserve the right to limit order quantities per individual, household, or order where appropriate.
3. Pricing & Billing
- All product prices are quoted in Indian National Rupees (₹ INR) and include applicable statutory taxes unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Prices and promotional offers are subject to change without prior notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the final checkout step.
- In the event of an inadvertent typographical error or system discrepancy in pricing, SumiKart reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund to the customer.
4. Payments & Security (PhonePe)
- We accept online payments through certified third-party payment service providers, primarily PhonePe Payment Gateway, supporting UPI, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Net Banking, and verified wallets.
- No Storage of Sensitive Payment Data: SumiKart does not collect, process, or store complete card numbers, CVVs, expiration dates, or UPI PINs on its servers. All payments are encrypted and handled directly by PhonePe under PCI-DSS standards.
- By completing a payment, you warrant that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method and have sufficient funds.
5. Shipping & Order Dispatch
- Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 2 working days after payment verification.
- Transit timelines range from 2 to 7 business days depending on location and courier accessibility across India.
- Delivery updates and tracking details (AWB numbers) are shared via SMS, email, and available directly on our Track Order page.
6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
- Returns & Refunds: For eligible items (damaged, defective, or incorrect products), return requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.
- Hygiene Safety: Due to hygiene and consumer safety standards, personal hygiene goods (such as tissue packs) that have been unsealed or used cannot be returned unless proven damaged during transit.
- Refund Timeline: Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 7 working days as detailed in our Refund Policy.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on SumiKart, including but not limited to brand names, trademarks, text, graphics, product photography, videos, logos, software, and website design, is the proprietary property of Sumi Ventures or its content suppliers and is protected under applicable Indian and international copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized reproduction, scraping, modification, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
- Attempt to interfere with or compromise the system integrity, server security, or networks connected to SumiKart.
- Engage in fraudulent orders, fake inquiries, unauthorized bot access, or payment chargeback manipulation.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sumi Ventures and its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products or website. In any case, our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the actual purchase price paid by the customer for the specific product in dispute.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms, orders, or use of SumiKart shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
